Training workshop of INNOCOACH project
On November 30th, 2021, the pilot training workshop of INNOCOACH / HORIZON 2020 project was held online, with the participation of SMEs and Innovation Agencies from the three partner countries: Greece, Italy and Turkey.
The aim of the workshop was to present the methodology developed by INNCOCOACH, for effective coaching of SMEs when they apply to EIC Instrument. Participants of the workshop were both Innovation Agencies and SMEs that are interested in the EIC Accelerator Program, deriving from all 3 involved countries. During the training workshop, the 4 methodological steps were presented as well as specific tools developed by INNOCOACH. The companies had the opportunity to navigate to the EIC AI Platform, to learn useful tips before submitting a proposal but also ways of SMEs self-assessment to understand whether they fit EIC programme. The audience had also the opportunity to learn on a good practice: TomaPaint, an Italian startup, presented its idea, its own experience with EIC Instrument and both failed and successful steps before the final successful grant award by EIC Pilot.
Throughout the workshop there was interaction with the audience through questions (ZOOM Chat and Sli.do) and Participants were also encouraged to send suggestions for methodology improvements as well as questions about the submission process.
Following the joint session of the workshop, SMEs from all three countries participated in b2b meetings, during which they received personalized support on assessing the maturity and readiness of their idea before they address the EIC Accelerator.
