
The last microSTARS Workshops for 2018 hosted by the Thessaloniki Chamber of Crafts were quite successful.
In detail, during the first workshop on “e-commerce and the creation of an e-shop in a word press environment”, the guest speaker Mr. Angelos Synadakis, General Manager of Social Mind, presented the basic steps for creating an e-shop at no cost , using the WooCommerce platform. The participants had the opportunity to learn what the main functions of an online store, such as order and product management, the definition of transport and payment methods, coupon codes, etc., as well as the prospects and capabilities given to them from this new channel of sales and communication with their customers.
The second workshop on branding attracted a large number of participants, in a full room of the Thessaloniki Chamber of Crafts. The presentation of Mrs. Foteini Vavisa, was a source of inspiration for the participants, who realized that the brand is not just a logo but a strong point that can bring faithful and repetitive customers to every business and contribute to its sustainability.
The third and final for the year 2018 thematic workshop, focused on one of the most critical and essential personal skills, “resilience”, a theme developed by the guest speaker, Irene Kontra, Executive / Business Coach. The participants, through an experiential approach, understood the meaning of the concept and the dimensions of “resilience”, met the characteristics of “resilient” people, and laid the foundations for building a personal development strategy aimed at acquiring self-knowledge.
