1st Peer- learning workshop
SmartFi project peer-learning workshop tool place in Porto, on 9th -10th – 11th of December 2019 at the premises of the National Innovation Agency of Portugal (ANI – AGÊNCIA NACIONAL DE INOVAÇÃO). This 3-days workshop aimed at exchanging Know-How among the three partners (KEPA – Greece, ANI – Portugal & ARSSA- Poland), as regards to the implementation of service design to Financial Instruments (FIs).
More specifically, the representatives of the partners – members of the peer-learning group- discussed all the market characteristics of the Financial Instruments in each country as well as presented a series of FIs’ services, programmes and projects with emphasis on the possess under which SMEs gain access to the specific financial support (from application till the last stage).
Furthermore, the participants had the opportunity to practice the Design Thinking Methodology, by using Design Thinking Tools (Journey Map) in order to identify the main difficulties in the access procedure to FIs.
Finally, the participants identified the components of the final project deliverable -Design Option Paper-, which will be further developed over the next few months. The DOP will be used as a «guide» – «guidebook» for other similar agencies on how to use design to increase the performance of the financial instruments for SMEs.
