Innova-FI 8th Exchange of Experience hosted by KEPA
After one and a half year of inevitable digital communication, the 8th Exchange of Experience meeting of Innova-FI project eventually happened in Thessaloniki, which was organized by KEPA during the period 28-30 September 2021. Representatives of the project partners and their stakeholders coming from 7 different European regions participated in the interactive workshop about future actions and collaborations, towards next Innovation Funding tools, methodologies, and inter-regional collaborations, which took place at the Alexander Innovation Zone. Alongside, the Greek landscape of financial instruments, entrepreneurship and innovation was illustrated through excellent presentations by the most representative organisations, such as the Managing Authority of Operational Programme Competitiveness, Entrepreneurship and Innovation (EPAnEK), the European Investment Fund, the Ministry of Development & Investments, the Hellenic Development Bank, the Region of Central Macedonia and KEPA’s initiative microSTARS. Finally, the transnational delegation had the opportunity to visit and get to know the work of some local organisations, like the Centre for Research & Technology Hellas – CERTH, the Noesis Science Center & Technology Museum and the ACT Entrepreneurship Hub – Venture Garden.
