The Business and Cultural Development Centre (KEPA), as a partner of the GREENSMES project, successfully completed the “1-on-1 Consultancy” action. This initiative followed the transnational online meeting “Green Innovation in SMEs: Paving the Way for a Sustainable Future in the IPA Adrion Region” and the two-day local thematic workshop “Green Innovation and Business Development”. Both events aimed to strengthen training and networking opportunities for businesses around green innovation.
Through the “1-on-1 Consultancy ” action, participating SMEs received personalized guidance across three focused sessions. These sessions combined needs assessment, the design of a tailored green development plan, and the preparation of each business to seize future opportunities arising from upcoming SME support activities within the project framework.
Entrepreneurs who took part in the consultancy sessions enhanced their strategic planning skills, explored opportunities to implement green and sustainable innovations, and developed practical approaches toward sustainable business growth.
Representing a wide range of sectors — including furniture manufacturing, sustainable construction materials, agri-food, smart and sustainable mobility, and vehicle tire trade — these enterprises demonstrated the cross-sector potential of green innovation and highlighted its importance as a key driver of local economic development.
