The 3rd Plenary Meeting among the consortium partners of the i-Game project was implemented on November 18 and 19 in Belgium. Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, our project partner in the Flemish Region of Belgium hosted the meeting and arranged to be held at the premises of the Centre for IT & IP Law, the research center at the Faculty of Law, that is leading IP issues within our project.
Having reached half of our journey, our main focus was to refine the co-creation sessions that will be implemented across the project’s pilot cases. The discussion focused strongly on how these sessions can serve as collaborative spaces where participants from different creative ecosystems work together to design meaningful digital interactions.
Ensuring that inclusion and sustainability remain at the core of the process was a shared priority: partners emphasized the need to create opportunities for diverse voices to contribute, while also promoting approaches that respect environmental, social, and cultural sustainability.
The meeting highlighted that successful co-creation requires not only technical preparation with the development of the i-Game platform, but also thoughtful facilitation that enables every participant to feel represented, engaged, and empowered. By bridging professionals from the Cultural and Creative industries, such as cultural experts, museums, fashion designers, game developers and creators, the platform seeks to foster a vibrant network of creatives who inspire one another, share expertise, and co-develop innovative digital experiences. 💡 💡
The consortium reaffirmed that the co-creation sessions in the pilots will be key moments where this vision becomes tangible: spaces where interdisciplinary collaboration can flourish and where inclusion and sustainability guide the creation of a lively, long-term community.
The consortium members also discussed important milestones and progress of the project activities, while also defined specific objectives under a certain time framework relating to next steps, taking into consideration the exploitation roadmap of our Key Exploitable Results.
