Conduction of the 3rd meeting with stakeholders online for Innova-FI project
KEPA held an online meeting with stakeholders for Innova-FI project, on Tuesday 26th of May 2020, about “Assessing financial instruments for innovation in combination with and beyond structural funds”, with the participation of 15 representatives of policy making and programmes / financial instruments management organisations.
During the teleconference, Innova-FI project and its scope were reviewed and the status of the financial instruments, as derived from a research mapping analysis conducted within the project, was presented. Special emphasis was placed on Innova-FI’s outcome, especially regarding the good practices identified in the project partner regions, highlighting those elements that present a particular interest for our region and country.
In the discussion that followed, the participants had the opportunity to exchange opinions mainly on the assessing of the up to now leveraging of public resources, as well as to make suggestions about the design of financial instruments in the next programming period.
The meeting’s results were very useful and are expected to contribute to the formulation of a regional Action Plan for developing and managing financial instruments as a means of implementing Structural Funds.
