5th Local Stakeholders’ Group meeting RegionArts
In the framework of the project ‘Enhancing SME growth by the integration of Artists in ICT projects’ – RegionArts under INTERREG EUROPE Programme, KEPA organised the 5th Local Stakeholders’ Group (LSG) meeting on Monday November 30th 2020, online.
This meeting entitled ‘Cultural and Creative Industries (CCIs): supporting actions, synergies with ICT, their role in Tourism development’ was attended by representatives from public and regional authorities, academic/research institutes, cultural organisations and schemes.
At first, a short reference to the up-to now project’s activities was made, while the RegionArts video produced by KEPA was also projected.
Then, the way towards the development of the Regional Action Plan, which focuses on empowering CCIs and their synergies with ICT, as well as the good practices exploited by the partner regions were presented.
The two basic pillars of the Action Plan include: a) strengthening the position of CCIs in the regional policy and b) the development and pilot testing of an integrated business support scheme to SMEs in Arts/CCIs & ICT sectors in Central Macedonia (ARTICT Box Model).
During the open discussion that followed, the participants shared thoughts and exchanged views, made suggestions for the enrichment and the improvement of the interventions, and declared once again that they shall remain at KEPA’s side for co-developing and implementing initiatives that will contribute to the development of our region.
