On 16th of October 2017, KEPA’s European Programmes Department executives, held a series of B2B meetings in Athens, with representatives from the National Stakeholder Group.
The aim of the meetings was to inform the stakeholder organisations about the project’s developments and to explore the Operational Programmes and the opportunities for Design. KEPA’s team members had meetings with representatives from the General Secretariat for Research and Technology (GSRT), the Managing Authority of the Operational Programme “Competitiveness, Entrepreneurship and Innovation” (EPAnEK), the Greek Parliament and the General Secretariat of Industry, during which they received updated information concerning the implementation and the planning of activities of the involved Ministries related to including Design into the focused policy instrument of the project.
Furthermore, the will from the part of these stakeholders to support KEPA in the development of a programme for promoting Design and for strengthening the Greek SMEs, was derived from these meetings. For this reason, the most suitable funding procedure shall be looked for during the next stages of the project implementation.
