The 3rd local stakeholders’ group meeting within the CCSI4CCSI Project, co-organized by the Region of Central Macedonia (RCM) and the Business & Cultural Development Centre (KEPA), was successfully completed with undiminished interest from the participants on Thursday, May 29th, 2025, at the premises of the Hellenic Design Centre.
A total of 17 people representing 8 different organizations participated in the meeting. After the introductory part with a brief presentation of the “CCSI4CCSI project” and its current progress, the participants had the opportunity to present themselves in an interactive way, update the others with latest news in terms of their core activity and their contribution to the creative ecosystem.
This working group meeting on the topic of “Bringing the local ecosystem of Cultural and Creative Sector in the spotlight” aimed at:
– sharing outputs from the 2nd “Exchange of Experience” to our local stakeholders,
– highlighting good practices from the regions of the participating countries,
– informing the participants about funding opportunities both at EU and local level,
– presenting the survey results on the sector’s needs, challenges, and opportunities, by revealing qualitative and quantitative data.
The presentation of the validated results from the recent secondary research was followed by a discussion on good examples from the local cultural & creative ecosystem. The meeting ended with an interactive workshop focusing on the cultural sites and heritage-related experiences of our region that need to be further promoted to other cultural organizations in Europe.
At the closing part of the meeting, reference was made to the next actions foreseen in the context of the project. The participants agreed to keep communication channels open with each other and renewed their appointment for the next semester.
