The Creative Residency for designers was planned and successfully completed within June 2024. The CODES Residency unfolded at a pace of inspiration and creativity, with participants by utilizing co-design tools and working in teams, managed to:
– transform their ideas into fashion products by giving a distinctive feature and a story behind each product (storytelling),
– co-create prototypes (prototyping),
– present their creations to the project partners (pitching),
so that their final creations be included in the catalogue of fashion items, and eventually presented at the CODES Festival, the final event of the CODES project that was held online on 26th and 27th of November, 2024.
The results (in terms of designed products) of the co-creation process and the collaboration among the beneficiaries of the CODES Residency, were collected into an online catalogue which summarizes the works, the designers involved, the work groups, the concept ideas developed, and ultimately the twelve designed products.
