The Transnational Focus Group organized by KEPA on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, in the context of the implementation of the “CO-DEsign for Sustainability” project with the acronym CODES, which is co-financed by the “Creative Europe” program of the European Union, was concluded with great success.
The Transnational Focus Group focused on the needs and challenges faced by professionals in the Fashion & Design sector from the countries of the three CODES project partners, Enter, Romagna Tech, and KEPA. The aim of this TFG was to activate creative ecosystems and develop new products that derive from a transnational cooperation.
Fashion designers, creators of jewelry from recyclable materials, textile manufacturers, representatives of chambers and schools of design & fashion, as well as students, contributed substantially to highlighting the critical points of the discussion in question.
During the meeting, each partner presented the results of the Local Focus Group conducted in their country, while at the same time the key points of the Sectoral Overview for the Fashion & Design sector were highlighted. In addition, in cooperation with the representatives of the project partners, the participants had the opportunity to e-meet professionals from other countries, exchange good practices, co-design the next steps for their participation in an international cooperation program and contribute to the development of the CODES collaborative tool.
Following a fruitful discussion, the utilization of digital collaboration tools and the projection of innovative ideas, proposals emerged for the creation of a versatile digital platform, which will provide added value and new networking opportunities to all industry professionals at an international level.
