Representatives of KEPA’s European Programs Department participated in the Kick-off Meeting of the Interreg Europe project, “CCSI4CCSI”, which was organized online through the Zoom platform, on Friday, May 26, 2024.
The goal of this project is to assist in the triple transition (green, digital and social) of the Cultural and Creative Sectors and Industries (CCSIs) in both regional and interregional scope. Aiming towards affecting relevant policy instruments, the CCSI4CCSI project will specifically try to promote:
- CCSI agents networking, regional and interregional
- Evolution and innovation in the CCSIs
- Addressing local social challenges and solving them
During the first part of the meeting, the lead partner “Region of Central Macedonia” welcomed the participants. Every partner had the opportunity to introduce their organization and the members that will contribute to the project. Furthermore, “KEPA” presented the general idea of the project, clarifying the goals and intended results.
The second part of the meeting was dedicated to important organizational matters, such as the project and financial management, which were presented by the “Region of Central Macedonia”. More specifically, each project partner appointed the members that will represent them in the Steering Committee, the first draft of the Partnership Agreement was presented and a detailed outline of the needs and instructions for the financial reporting was given.
In the last part of the meeting, “KEPA” presented the detailed workplan of the project, with specific steps for each semester, the meeting schedule and all deliverables. Additionally, “KEPA”, being the Communication Partner shared with the partners all the actions that need to be implemented for the proper dissemination of the project. As part of the communication plan, the partners also, made the decision on the picture/mock-up that will represent the project in all communication materials. Finally, the “Region of Central Macedonia” summed up the main next steps, the project partners initiated planning the first physical meeting and organized the next online meeting for the following month.
